My name is Kevin, Kevin D. Barrowclough, and this is not only our family's webpage, but also the Barrowclough Family genealogy site. I am the 3rd son of Howard James Barrowclough and Edith Oakley VanBlarcom both of Fall River, MA and a descendant of JAMES BARROWCLOUGH who came to America in 1869 with his wife, MARTHA SHARP, and their nine children to settle in Fall River, MA. My hope is to provide an accurate family history that will aid other's in tracing their lineage for at one time there were as many as 10 different Barrowclough families residing in Fall River, MA in the late 1800's and early 1900's. Marion M. (Reynolds) Barrowclough with her first great grandchild, Erika Barrowclough, daughter of Richard G. Barrowclough. Walter Barrowclough, the oldest natural child of James Barrowclough and Martha Sharp, married Ella Rostrum of Fall River, MA. This union produced two daughters and a son, James Walter. James Walter Barrowclough married Marion M. Reynolds of Fall River, MA and on August 22, 1922 their only child, a son, Howard James, was born. Howard James Barrowclough (my father) married Edith Oakley VanBlarcom the daughter of Gilbert Frances VanBlarcom and Gladys McCowan both of Fall River, MA. This union saw the births of four sons: Richard Gilbert - September 27, 1946 to September 10, 2008. James Howard - June 10, 1948 Kevin Douglas (me) - March 17, 1950 Gilbert Frances - March 12, 1951
